Don Jon’s season outlook

The NFL draft came and went. Teams have finished building their team for success this season. My ancestors have given me their predictions for the upcoming season and I’m ready to share what they think this season will unfold. WARNING: This will only be looking at the rosters and owners only. The schedule is not included in the analysis.

AFC East

The offseason was brutal for this division, many star players left due to being too expensive or just getting old. Only one team looks to take the division and that is the Patriots. How do I know the Patriots looks good? ZBD stopped dming me that he’s going to murder Smokey. Kidding of course. He has a 98 ovr XF dev QB with new signings like James Cook in the backfield and drafted the next Tyreek Hill. Defense could use some work, but who cares if you can score 50 points a game. That is if he can. Roster is half the battle, it’s how to utilize them efficiently. Let’s also not forget that the Dolphins have a new owner, and Lloyd said it best, “New users can be wildcards too.” It’s a tough call but as of right now Smokey should take this division, unless AteOne balls out or CBiz is a good user. Gil I love you but this ain’t your year.

AFC North

Man if the previous Ravens wasn’t such a bonehead when it came to team management then I would have said this division would have been a close one between AJ and Luke. Luke went all in on defense this offseason, building up a Dline that would make defensive coordinator get excited over and drafted only CBs, which there’s nothing wrong with that, I guess he did not like the QBs that are in the draft or is gonna sign one in preseason. AJ has the unenviable task to rebuild this mess of a team, but I believe he can do it, just don’t expect it to happen in one season or two. Bengals and Steelers, I just don’t think they did enough to build their teams to keep up with Luke. Unless Rubin balls out on offense, he still has Burrow, Jamar Chase, and Tee Higgins. This division belongs to the master of the TE motion pass Luke.

AFC South

Roster wise, this division looks pretty close. XYZ drafted a stud in WR, and Daz still have a stud of a team and is building towards the future with their new rookie QB who can learn from Trevor Lawerence. Iconic did not make as much of an impact as the others, but he can still be competitive. But when we consider the owners, this is still Steel’s division until proven otherwise.

AFC West

Broncos and the Chargers have been consistent when it comes to owners. Chiefs and Raiders have new owners and can be wildcards. Raiders still have a really good roster so I expect them to win a lot of games. Chiefs are well…they exist. Chargers loaded up offense with the amount of 95 speed WRs and a stud of TE MLDogs drafted. Broncos didn’t get to do much but should be solid. It’s a close call but I believe if the Raiders don’t break rules they take the division. But if they do it will go to MlDogs.

NFC East

This one is really going to go down between the Giants and the Eagles. Commanders drafted a stud of a WR, but a WR doesn’t make the team, a team makes a team. Cowboys has a really good D Line that would make Luke blush in envy. But that’s about it. NYtitan even scarier by signing a 99 ovr QB and his defense is still top tier. The Giants have a returning owner in Eddie, but he plays defense very well and still has Dart, Nabers and the 99 ovr RB. I expect him to give NYT a run for his money. I still think the east belongs to NYT, but Eddie won’t make it easy.

NFC North

I really like the moves this division made. Juice got a new DB to help with their pass defense. Krayzie got the next Adrian Peterson.Melo has a new WR to play with. Despite these moves, this division is going to Flithy. He was leading the league in offense last season for a reason and I do not think that’s going to change, at least for this season.

NFC South

This division is a bit of a disappointment in terms of building.Saints probably did the best job with o line they drafted and they look like studs. But it’s not enough. This division still goes to the Bucs. No one else’s offense is going to overcome them.

NFC West

Much like the NFC South I just cannot see anyone dethroning BWO. Josh Allen is back and their defense is still in tact. Cardinals added a new WR and a stud of a guard, but their defense is still lacking. Lloyd didn’t make much changes but he should give BWO a real challenge. Colt in theory should give BWO a headache with his offense, but he’s not going to. BWO is going to dominate this division once again.
