Don Jon’s Playoff outlook

I’m back for the playoff outlook! Last season I didn’t get the chance to share my thoughts because I forgot how quick everyone plays their games. My ancestors are pleased and have shared their wisdom and I will now share theirs.

AFC: Man this has been a wild ride to watch from week 1 to week 18. Steel taking first seed was a given, no surprise there.

Though what really was a surprise was AJ claiming the 2 seed. Not saying he is a bad player, but my ancestors figured that his team were dead to rights with how poor the previous user managed the team. Will have more magic to continue through this postseason we will see, but I am very excited to see that. Smokey mad a turnaround from the last season with his offense moves he made and Tramon Hilton is the definition of, “Screw it, he’s out there somewhere” player. People are starting to catch onto his style and strategy all jokes aside. If AJ can summon the madden gods to assist him with the defense, I do believe he is a good chance of winning the WC.

Ate this season decided to go full heel and bully his opponents week by week. He has the best rushing attack this season despite having Jamo on his squad. His defense took a bit of a dip, but it is serviceable enough. Iconic finally got the monkey off his back and made it to the playoffs! It helps that he passed the most yards in the season. However, defense wins championships and Iconic is ranked near the bottom. In this match up I will have to give it to Ate.

Tomato has a dangerous passing attack, but their defense is their Achilles heel, that sounds very familiar to us. Daz never seems to disappoint and despite his claims to overextend his success with his squad, he still finds ways to win. Daz’s defense is close to the top, and I do think he will suffocates Tomato’s offense.

NFC:

Lloyd being first seed. I am not too surprised to be honest. I had a feeling it was going to be him or Filthy, but a string of bad luck for Filthy gave Lloyd the edge. Offensively he knows the right tricks and plays to call, and his defense finds ways to harass your QB. He is a strong candidate to make the SB, but then again nothing is guaranteed.

Man I really didn’t think NYT would fall this bad, but I guess with him seeing the sunset in the horizon his heart may not be in it. Who knows. Filthy isn’t slowing down though, and with him being an offensive juggarnaut, NYT’s defense won’t be enough to help him. This one goes to Filthy

Eddie has proven to be every bit of the madden player I’ve come to expect. Played great all season and has one of the best defenses this season. Now here comes me. It’s no secret that I can somehow find ways to move the ball in the air, but it’s also no secret that my defense is terrible. It’s gotten better as of late, I do not know why so please don’t think too much about it. Unless I can somehow keep Eddie under 28 points, this one goes to him.

Drewski his team is very confusing his offense ranks near the bottom, and yet he keeps finding ways to win games. His defense is elite no doubt about that but to win with that offense is mind boggling. BWO is more conventional then Drewski. That’s not a compliment or a dig, that’s just fact. Still a very good user and honestly this is probably the closest match up in the WC. My edge goes to BWO for experience.

Don Jon’s Fortune Cookie: Making to the playoffs is just step one of the journey. Nothing is guaranteed. Do not be scared of the opponents strengths and trust in your team.
